The International Growth Department at Durioo+ is the powerhouse team behind our mission to take Durioo+ global — bringing our safe, Islamic, and entertaining content to Muslim families beyond Malaysia. Our goal is not just to grow numbers, but to become a trusted platform for Muslim parents raising children in the digital world.
🚀 How It Started
This department was formally established in October 2024, catalyzed by the viral success of a Durioo+ campaign by the Saleh Family, a prominent Muslim influencer family based abroad. That one post — authentic, relatable, and perfectly timed — became a turning point.
Before October 2024, Durioo+ had only managed to gather ~300 international subscribers (outside Malaysia) since our launch in 2022. But in just 6 months post-October 2024, we 10X-ed that number, growing to 3,000+ active subscribers from abroad — a clear signal that the global Muslim market was eager for what we offered.

- In Malaysia, we’ve already validated PMF: families subscribe, children engage, and parents renew. But to truly scale and raise Durioo+ to a global level (and eventually IPO or be acquired), we must prove the same PMF exists internationally.
- By entering markets like the UK, US, and Canada — where Muslim families face even fewer Islamic content options — we’re testing and refining whether Durioo+ resonates across cultural and linguistic lines.
- Every campaign, ad, and partnership run by the international growth team provides live market feedback: What do parents care about? What characters or features do they love? Which messaging works? What price are they willing to pay?
- This data directly supports the product team, content team, and ops team by helping:
